From Lockerbie to Murrayfield

Club member Dr Howard Moody Ph.D, FDSRCSEd, FRSCEd, FRC.Path is a retired oral and maxillofacial consultant pathologist. For 34 years he also provided forensic odontology (dental) and was involved in over 100 identifications through dentistry cases and over 50 bite mark cases.
His work for Lothian & Borders Police took him to Lockerbie where he was part of the team assisting the lead RAF dentist in identifying the victims through dental analysis.
His talk will look at how mass disaster identification has changed since Lockerbie and give some lesser known details about this tragedy as well as some anecdotes and information on the unsung heroes involved.
