Private Hire – Dining and Function Rooms

The grandeur of this Georgian building with its historic past provides the perfect setting for any occasion. Whether it is for a small dinner party, business lunch or for a large celebratory occasion, the Club offers excellent surroundings in a superb location.

The Royal Scots Club has a history of holding high profile events and has been used for a variety of different events such as product launches, conferences, receptions, private dining, charity events, photo shoots and weddings.  Private hire is available per room or group of rooms and is available to both Members and non Members.

We have a dedicated event coordinator who will work with you to plan every detail of your event, whether it is for 2 guests or 200, to make sure that your event runs like clockwork.  We will ensure that whatever the occasion, it is remembered for all the right reasons!

Room hire costs include full set up of tables with white linen, cutlery and glassware, printing of menus and place cards if required and candle decorations. All catering is provided in house from our excellent team of chefs. The menus we can offer depend on your number of guests so please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss the options available.

The Scott Room

A beautiful room located on the first floor. With gas fire place and beautiful large windows. Superb for private dinners from 8 to 24 guests.

The Scott Room

The Douglas Room

A delightfully elegant room with period fireplace and large windows overlooking Queen Street Gardens and located on the first floor. Superb for private dinners from 18 to 44 guests.

Dinner 6pm – 10pm | Room hire £235

 

Maximum capacity – 28 on 1 table, 32 on a u-shape, 40 on 4 tables of 10, 44 on a E-shape

The Douglas Room

The Hepburn Suite

The club’s original function suite. An impressive room with original Georgian features. An entirely self-contained area with large dance floor and stage, which can be used for entertainment with adjacent private bar.

Dinner 6pm – 11pm | Room hire £420

 

Maximum capacity – 120 on 12 round tables of 10. Minimum numbers of 50 guests required.

The Hepburn Suite

The Princess Royal Suite

A modern suite with a unique adjacent private cavern bar. The suite has an 8ft high ceiling making for a wonderfully cosy atmosphere with a large dance floor perfect for entertainment after dinner or during a wedding reception.

On occasion, when available, the members Library can be used for pre-event drinks & canapes for up to 60 guests or small private dinners for up to 8 guests.
