ABOUT THE EVENT

Join us as we welcome Alicia Coombes, Director of The Edinburgh Drawing School, for the unveiling of her new portrait works.

Trained at Florence Academy of Art across both Italy and Sweden, Alicia is a passionate proponent of the alla prima style – a technique defined by its energy, spontaneity and decisive brushwork, where the artist’s hand is visible in every stroke. The result is portraiture that is bold, alive, and captivating.

View Alicia’s newest works in an intimate setting, meet the artist in person, and hear the stories behind the portraits.
