ABOUT THE EVENING
A single night exclusive performence!
We are delighted to welcome the extraordinary Elias Faingersh to The Royal Scots Club for an exclusive members’ preview of his acclaimed one-man show, Solo from the Pit.
Armed with only his trombone and a set of looping pedals, Elias (formerly of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra in New York) takes audiences on a deeply personal journey of ambition, creativity and transformation. Weaving together live music, storytelling and stand-up comedy, he reinterprets some of the world’s most beloved operas through the lens of his own remarkable life story.
Funny, moving and utterly original, Solo from the Pit has already won the Grand Prix at the Reykjavik Fringe Festival, been selected as Best of the Fest by the Orlando Sentinel, and earned the award for Best Solo Musical Show at the Orlando Fringe. It has since played to audiences at the legendary SoHo Playhouse in New York.
