Whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or a curious newcomer, there is a seat at this table for you.

About The Experts

Great Grog

Great Grog is a friendly, independent wine merchant based in Edinburgh, known as much for its personality as its cellar. Rather than treating wine as something intimidating, the team’s approach is all about making it approachable and fun. No prior wine knowledge is ever assumed; guests are simply invited to show up, work their way through a hand-picked selection of themed pours and leave with real, usable knowledge and a smile on their face. It offers wine education that is expert-led, sociable, and built around the idea that learning about wine should be as enjoyable as drinking it.

The Cheese Lady

Svetlana is the founder of The Cheese Lady, a multi-award-winning specialist in farmhouse and artisan cheese based in East Lothian, Scotland. With more than 20 years of experience in fine cheese and wine, she has dedicated her career to helping people discover exceptional cheeses and enjoy them with greater confidence and pleasure.

Her journey began in New York City, where she trained and worked at the renowned Murray’s Cheese before continuing her studies in France and the UK. Today, The Cheese Lady offers over 100 carefully selected cheeses from artisan producers across Britain and Europe through its shops in Haddington and North Berwick, as well as nationwide delivery across the UK.

A WSET Level 3 wine graduate, Academy of Cheese graduate, author, speaker and cheese judge, Svetlana is passionate about helping people slow down, savour exceptional food, and create memorable moments around the table with family and friends.
