ABOUT THE BELGIAN OPERA AND OPERETTA ORGANISATION

The Belgian Opera and Operetta Organisation (BOOO) was founded in 2023 by Hadrien Baudot and Senne Martens. Its primary goal is to promote and produce opera for a broader audience. BOOO’s productions range from intimate concert formats to musical theatre performances incorporating operatic excerpts, as well as full-scale opera productions.BOOO positions itself as a Belgium-based organisation with an international outlook, committed to lowering the threshold for opera. We firmly believe that this mission can be achieved by engaging with audiences across borders and by building strong international connections.

ABOUT THE MUSICIANS

Laura Telly Cambier (born 1990) studied soprano at the Royal Academy of Liège. She began her professional career in the lyrical studio of Charleroi, where her performances quickly gained recognition. Her work was rewarded with the prestigious German Emmerich Smola Förderpreis, awarded to promising young singers. In addition to this honour, Laura has gained extensive international experience, performing in cities such as Venice, Verona, and London. During her time abroad, she was coached by renowned artists including Francesco Ruospo in Bari, Manuela Ochavski in Amsterdam, and Barbara Frittoli in Milan.

In Belgium, she has performed with two major opera companies: La Monnaie and Opera Ballet Flanders. Her repertoire includes leading roles in operas such as Carmen, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Les Contes d’Hoffmann, and Die Fledermaus. She is also a regular guest at the renowned Midsummer Mozartiade, where she has appeared in Le Nozze di Figaro, La Clemenza di Tito, and Così fan tutte, among others.Laura frequently collaborates with organist Fabrice Renard in the duo Abside, performing in churches and cathedrals across Belgium, Luxembourg, and France. Alongside her performing career, she founded the company Capart, which focuses on creating stage opportunities for performers with disabilities.

This year, she will star in Poulenc’s La voix humaine and in Lucia di Lammermoor, produced by the Belgian Opera and Operetta Organisation.

Hadrien Baudot (born 1989) began his vocal training as a lyric tenor in 2012 with Tatiana Trenogina and continued his studies with Cécile Bolle. He later took lessons in Leuven with Bart de Kegel and further developed his skills through various masterclasses, including those led by Marcel Vanaud. In 2014, he founded the English-language theatre company Trivial Muffins in Leuven, which has since become a well-established presence in the city. His musical theatre production Mozart -which he wrote, directed, and performed in, in collaboration with Dario Salvireceived several awards.

Continuing this artistic trajectory, he founded LyricLab in 2023, through which he directed a successful adaptation of Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro. That same year, he also founded the Belgian Opera and Operetta Organisation (BOOO). In October 2026, he will appear as Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor for BOOO.Baudot has taken part in several lyrical studios in Leuven and at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Charleroi. He has performed leading tenor roles in operas such as Carmen, Don Carlo, Roméo et Juliette, Die Fledermaus, and Die Zauberflöte.
