ABOUT THIS SEMINAR
How confident are you that you could spot a scam, protect your online accounts or know what to do if something went wrong?
Join Network ROI for a relaxed, practical evening on cyber security at The Royal Scots Club. Expect an engaging and accessible session with plenty to take away – with plenty of real-world examples, helpful tips and a few things that might surprise you.
Neil Douglas, CIO at Network ROI and Jude McCorry, CEO at Cyber Fraud Centre Scotland will lead the session. They’re both brilliant at making cyber security easy to understand, cutting through the jargon and bringing the subject to life. Expect practical advice, interesting stories and plenty of takeaways you can use straight away – whether you’re protecting yourself, your family, your business or your social media accounts.
During the evening, we will explore how to:
· Understand why cyber security awareness matters for everyone
· Define cyber security and put sensible protections in place
· Protect yourself on common social media platforms, with a live demonstration
· Spot common scams, threats and the misconceptions that can leave people vulnerable
· Know what to do before, during and after a cyber incident
· Feel more confident about protecting yourself online
