ABOUT THE CONCERT

The evening will be an illustrated celebration in song – first performed for the Black Watch Museum at Balhousie Castle, Perth.

Drinks and canapés will be served from 19:00 to 19:20 with guests being seated by 19:30.

 
 

ABOUT THE MUSICIANS

PlaidSong are a talented musical duo intertwining Scots music and history. 

Based in Perthshire, Nicky and Syd have been performing as a musical duo for over 10 years. Popular across Scotland, they have also performed regularly in London at the Caledonian Club, the Caledonian Society, and Burn Club of London as well as performances in Ireland, France and New Zealand. They combine historical research interests with traditional, original singing/song writing. They have 3 albums of songs published on Spotify, iTunes, etc and are regular performers at folk clubs, musical, historical, and literary societies, village ceilidhs, Burns Suppers, and St Andrew’s night celebrations and include specific presentations on the following:
