In celebration of the RAuxAF Centenary

On Friday 25th October 2024, the Club will hold a dinner to commemorate the Centenary of the formation of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force in 1924. This is a black tie event, mess kit and decorations are encouraged where appropriate. The evening will begin with a Piper to welcome you to the drinks reception for a glass of sparkling wine followed by a 3-course dinner with wine. Musical entertainment will be provided by the 6 SCOTS Band, loyal toasts with port and a fundraising auction and raffle.

CELEBRATE THE CENTENARY

The principal objective of the dinner is to raise funds for the Royal Auxiliary Air Force Foundation, whilst at the same time commemorating the dedication and contribution of the RAF Aux. over the past 100 years.

Our Honoured guest is The Duke of Hamilton and Group Captain Bob Kemp CBE QVRM AE DL, will be our speaker.

A full list of auction prizes, which members and guests can bid for on the night, will be made available shortly and tickets for the raffle can be purchased in advance or on the night.

Members who are unable to attend the dinner but would like to bid on the Auction may do so by contacting Rebecca on 0131 525 6158 or membership@royalscotsclub.com.

Tickets are priced at £65 for members and their guests.

The ticket price includes a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, 3 course dinner with wine, port for the Loyal Toasts and musical entertainment plus a donation to the Royal Auxiliary Air Force Foundation.

If you would like to purchase a batch of raffle tickets, please email membership@royalscotsclub.com. Tickets are batched and you can purchase five for £10 (£2 per raffle ticket). You cannot purchase individual tickets.
