ABOUT THE EVENT

Paul Tweed is an international libel lawyer to the rich and famous in Britain and Hollywood – his client list ranges from British royalty (he advised Prince Andrew not to do that interview!) to Hollywood celebrities.

From offices in Belfast, London and Dublin, he represents the rich and famous in their libel battles with the international media and, increasingly, the rich and, not so famous, who seek to protect their privacy.

He has fought cases for Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Sylvester Stallone, Louis Walsh, Liam Neeson, Jennifer Lopez, Ashton Kutcher and Amber Heard, to name but a few.

Increasingly he is taking on digital giants like X, Google and Facebook who seek to avoid responsibility for articles published on their platforms.

Paul will be hosted by Graham Ogilvy, publisher of Scottish Legal News.
